22 Sep 2020

The Law Society of Singapore’s Women in Practice (WIP) Committee recently released an insightful report titled “Levelling the Playing Field”, which highlights key recommendations from a survey and roundtable sessions aimed at raising awareness of gender diversity and equality issues amongst members of the legal profession. Key areas discussed in the report include the need for mentorship and sponsorship; the pervasive nature of unconscious bias; balancing family responsibilities and the need for flexible work arrangements; and addressing sexual harassment and bullying in the profession.
