Bonnie WONG is a Partner in the Corporate Real Estate Practice.

Her main areas of practice include property-related transactions which encompass direct and indirect real estate acquisitions and divestments, build-to-suit projects, real estate backed financing and commercial leasing. She has advised multi-national corporations, public listed corporations, property funds, banks and statutory boards on major real estate transactions.

Bonnie graduated from the King's College London and is admitted to the Singapore Bar.

Significant transactions that Bonnie has been involved in include advising / acting for the following:

  • GrabTaxi Holdings Pte. Ltd. in connection with the development and lease of a purpose-built building (the "Building") to be built at one-north business park, Singapore, specifically for use by Grab and its various related entities and serving as Grab's headquarters. The 30-year leasehold interest for the land was obtained by HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Singapore) Limited (in its capacity as trustee of Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust ("Ascendas REIT")) from the Jurong Town Corporation and the Building will be developed and constructed by Ascendas REIT.
  • Aetos Holdings Pte. Ltd. ("Aetos"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings Pte Ltd, in connection with the build-to-suit and lease of a its first multi-storey building specifically for use by Aetos and its subsidiaries as well as the subsequent acquisition of the completed development thereafter.
  • City Development Limited (“CDL”) in three of its innovative profit participation securities investment platforms, namely via (i) the investment by Blackstone's Tactical Opportunities Fund, CIMB Bank Berhad and others in the cashflows of CDL's properties in Sentosa Cove (named the Quayside Collection), (ii) the investment by Alpha Investments in three of CDL’s prime office properties which worth approximately S$1.1 billion, and (iii) the divestment of interest in its wholly-owned subsidiary which owns the Nouvel 18 luxury condominium for S$977.6 million.
  • The Purchaser managed by property fund, One Tree Partners, in the acquisition of companies holding 17 strata office units in Prudential Tower.
  • Wholly-owned subsidiaries of M+S Pte. Ltd. (a joint venture company, owned by Khazanah Nasional Berhad and Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited) in a landmark S$5 billion financing transaction relating to the development of mixed developments, Duo and One Marina.
  • TuasOne Pte. Ltd. (a joint venture between Hyflux Ltd and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd.) in its project for the construction and development of a waste-to-energy plant including the alienation of the land for the project site and the S$653 million project financing in relation to the project.
