The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCS)’s Guidelines on the Fast Track Procedure (Guidelines), which supersede and replace the previous Fast Track Practice Statement in its entirety, took effect on 1 July 2026. The Guidelines set out a streamlined procedure for resolving investigations into infringements of sections 34 or 47 of the Competition Act 2004 more efficiently. They introduce, among other things, a Fast Track Discount of up to 30%, a streamlined application and approval process, and clearer guidance on the submissions businesses may make on CCS's proposed infringement decisions.
