With the passing of the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Bill (“Bill”) in Parliament on 7 April 2020, we provide updates on the impact it brings on the construction industry in Singapore. This update examines how the reliefs/measures will impact the local construction industry, outlines the implications of the circuit breaker measures introduced by the Government on 3 April 2020, and examines the BCA advisory dated 5 April 2020 issued to the construction industry.
