On 15 June 2026, the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) issued a circular announcing the extension of the Energy Efficiency Grant (EEG) for one year, and the expansion of the EEG (Base Tier) pre-approved list of qualifying energy-efficient equipment for the construction sector. The EEG for the construction sector supports construction firms by lowering the upfront investment needed to adopt energy-efficient and electric machinery used in Singapore.
