On 1 September 2026, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) launched a consultation seeking feedback on proposed legislative amendments to the Payment Services Act 2019 to implement MAS’ regulatory framework for stablecoins in Singapore. The consultation closes on 16 October 2026.
