Singapore and Indonesia have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen and expedite cross-border electricity trade, with three MOUs signed to secure low-carbon electricity offtake and interconnection, and a target of 3.4GW or more of projects by 2035 identified. Both countries will also develop supporting regulatory and Cross-Border Renewable Energy Certificate frameworks.
