On 19 May 2026, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) announced that Singapore has joined the Global Green Growth Institute’s Carbon Transaction Facility, contributing US$15 million to strengthen international collaboration on high-integrity carbon markets under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement and scale climate action.
