We are delighted to share that Christy Lim, Head of our Banking & Finance Practice, and Alvin Chua, Partner in our Debt Capital Markets Practice, have been named Banking & Finance Lawyer of the Year and Capital Markets Associate of the Year, respectively, at the Legal 500 Southeast Asia Awards 2026.

A market leader in the Banking & Finance space, Christy Lim led numerous high-value domestic and cross-border financing transactions, has a distinguished portfolio of work, and is widely regarded as the lawyer of choice for complex, headline-making deals across the Asia-Pacific region. Her expertise spans leveraged and acquisition financing, infrastructure financing, development financing, fund financing, as well as ESG financing.

Alvin Chua, who was made Partner in the firm in 2026, has been an integral member of the Debt Capital Markets team. He advises both issuers and arranger/dealer banks, with a focus on the establishment of medium-term note and commercial paper programmes, securities offerings, as well as insurance, corporate, and commercial transactions.
