Liquidation of Three Arrows Capital featured as one of 2023’s Restructuring and Insolvency Deals of the Year at the Asia Legal Awards 2023

The liquidation of Three Arrows Capital has been featured as one of the Deals of the Year at the Asia Legal Awards 2023 hosted by Law.com International. Our Restructuring & Insolvency Partner Lionel Leo and Senior Associate Muhammed Ismail represented our firm’s Restructuring & Insolvency team in receiving the prize at the Awards Ceremony held on 30 March.

WongPartnership is acting for the liquidators of Three Arrows Capital in the ongoing complex liquidation of the entity, and has been advising on the multi-jurisdictional liquidation strategy adopted by the liquidators. The liquidation is the first cross-border insolvency matter before the Singapore courts where the main business of the entity is investing in cryptocurrencies and related assets, and the pace at which the complex multi-jurisdictional strategy was and is being implemented has garnered this matter recognition as a deal of the year.
