11 Mar 2026WongPartnership LLP acted as Singapore counsel to KKR in connection with the acquisition by a KKR-led consortium, comprising Singtel, of STT GDC Pte. Ltd. from STT Communications Ltd.
We advised on the Singapore law aspects of the transaction, including numerous structuring considerations and legal and regulatory issues arising in connection with the acquisition. The scale and cross-border nature of the deal required close coordination across practice areas and with advisers in multiple jurisdictions to support the consortium’s commercial objectives and execution timeline.
The transaction is one of the largest digital infrastructure deals in Southeast Asia to date, with a total consideration of S$6.6 billion representing an implied enterprise value of approximately S$13.8 billion.
