10 Oct 2023WongPartnership’s Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice continues to be recognised as a Tier 1 Practice in the Asian Legal Business’ (ALB) M&A Rankings 2023.
Our M&A Practice is regularly called upon to take on significant mandates which are often featured in the media. Most recently, our Partners were involved in the UBS Group AG merger with Credit Suisse Group AG by way of a statutory merger under the Swiss Merger Act and Olam Group in the sale of a 35.4 per cent stake in Olam Agri Holdings to the Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (Salic) for US$1.2 billion, amongst others.
The ALB M&A Rankings are based on the firms’ volume, complexity and size of work undertaken; presence across Asia and in individual jurisdictions; and key personnel hires and growth of the practice group. Results were based on firm submissions, Thomson Reuters M&A data, interviews, editorial resources and market suggestions to identify top firms for M&A in Asia.
