WongPartnership recognised with the most number of Accredited Specialists in Building and Construction Law

08 Jan 2018

Singapore, 8 January 2018 – WongPartnership is delighted to hold the distinction of being the firm with the most number of Accredited Specialists in Building and Construction Law. The Singapore Academy of Law in conjunction with the Opening of the Legal Year announced today that six of our Partners have been appointed Accredited Specialists in Building and Construction Law, amongst an inaugural batch of 24 selected practitioners.

Christopher Chuah, Head of the Infrastructure, Construction & Engineering Practice, and Ian de Vaz, Joint Head of the Energy, Projects & Construction Practice, were both appointed Senior Accredited Specialists in Building and Construction Law.

Partners Candy Agnes Sutedja, Goh Wanjing, Laura Chang and Lydia Yahaya were appointed Accredited Specialists in Building and Construction Law.

The Singapore Academy of Law's Specialist Accreditation Scheme entails a rigorous assessment process where a legal practitioner is required to demonstrate to the selection committee evidence of his or her knowledge and expertise in their chosen area of specialisation before being accredited.

The intention of the Scheme is to provide the legal industry and general public with a reliable means of identifying and accessing legal practitioners who have proven themselves as possessing the requisite skills and knowledge in a specialist practice area.
