WongPartnership was honoured at the 2025 Asian Legal Business (ALB) SE Asia Law Awards with several key distinctions across practices.

For the third consecutive year, we were named Private Equity and Venture Capital Law Firm of the Year. Our team is led by Mark Choy and Quak Fi Ling – Co-Heads of our Private Equity practice as well as Ong Sin Wei and Kyle Lee – Co-Heads of our Start-up and Venture Capital practice.

Additionally, we were also named Investment Funds Law Firm of the Year. Our Investment Funds team is led by Head Low Kah Keong and Partner Felicia Ng.

A standout recognition came in the form of M&A Deal of the Year for our role in the investment by KKR and Singtel in ST Telemedia Global Data Centres. WongPartnership acted for Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel) in this significant transaction, with our Chairman and Managing Partner Wai King Ng, Co-Head of the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Chan Sing Yee, and Partner Ling Pei Lih leading the team. The deal involved a proposed investment by Singtel’s wholly-owned subsidiary and a fund managed by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P., into STT GDC Pte. Ltd., a major provider of data centre colocation services.

The Awards also saw our Partner Tian Sion Yoong being named Fintech Lawyer of the Year, reflecting his leadership and innovation in navigating the evolving Fintech landscape across both Singapore and South-East Asia. Kyle Lee, Co-Head of our Startup and Venture Capital received the Young Lawyer of the Year (Law Firm) award, highlighting his outstanding contributions and expertise to the Singapore and South-East Asia legal landscape.
