Singapore, 2 December 2020 – We are pleased to announce that WongPartnership has won awards for “Megatrend Deal of the Year – Property” and “Top Three Deals in Southeast Asia” at the FinanceAsia Achievement Awards 2020 for our involvement as a legal advisor to CapitaLand Commercial Trust in the merger of CapitaLand Mall Trust and CapitaLand Commercial Trust. The deal, valued at S$8.2 billion, will propel the combined entity to form the third-largest REIT in the Asia-Pacific region.

Our Head of Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Andrew Ang and Partner Milton Toon; Head of Debt Capital Markets Practice Hui Choon Yuen and Partner Trevor Chuan; Corporate Real Estate Practice Partner Tan Teck Howe; and Energy, Projects and Construction Practice Partner Linda Low led the team in this deal.
