WongPartnership wins TMT Deal of the Year at Asia Legal Awards 2020 for its involvement in the Joint Venture Between IronNet Cybersecurity and Ensign InfoSecurity

Singapore, 29 September 2020 – We are pleased to announce that WongPartnership has won the TMT Deal of the Year for our involvement in the joint venture between IronNet Cybersecurity and Ensign InfoSecurity at the recent Asia Legal Awards 2020.

WongPartnership advised Temasek Holdings, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, and Ensign Infosecurity, a cybersecurity joint venture between Temasek Holdings and StarHub Ltd, on Ensign’s joint venture with IronNet Cybersecurity and on various technology licensing and distribution agreements between Ensign and its technology partners, which include IronNet Cybersecurity and D’Crypt, in the establishment of its marquee client offering, the Cyber Analytics Centre for Excellence.

Since its establishment, Ensign has grown to be a major player in the cybersecurity market in Singapore and the region, and today has a good market share of the cybersecurity business in Singapore. The technology agreements our firm worked on were with strategic partners of Ensign and are instrumental in laying the foundations for key service offerings and initiatives for Ensign.
