Christopher CASSIM is one of the founding partners of WongPartnership and was instrumental in the setting-up of the Corporate Real Estate Practice where he is now serving as a Consultant.

His main practice areas are commercial and residential purchases and sales, property finance, property development, commercial and residential leases and other landlord and tenant matters and property-related corporate transactions.

Christopher previously lectured and tutored for the Board of Legal Education's Postgraduate Practical Law Course.

Significant transactions that Christopher has been involved in include advising / acting for the following:

  • Guocoland in the retail and office leases for Guoco Towers a large scale, integrated mixed use development located above the Tanjong Pagar MRT Station and Guoco Midtown a new mixed-use development in the Beach Road district in Singapore.
  • United Overseas Bank Limited and Industrial & Commercial Property (S) Pte. Ltd. in the lease of Singapore Exchange Centre, a twin-tower office building located at Shenton Way, Singapore, to the Singapore Exchange, Asia's pioneering central clearing house which offers a fully integrated value chain from trading and clearing to settlement and depository services.
  • Firstoffice Pte. Ltd. in the lease of all commercial space in 20 Anson Road, a modern Grade A commercial development which is awarded the "Green Mark Platinum" rating, located in the heart of the city in Singapore; the rating is the highest in Singapore for buildings that feature energy efficient, water-efficient and environmentally friendly design.
  • UOL Group in the leases of the commercial and retail developments in Singapore for Novena Square, United Square, Faber House, Odeon Towers, PARKROYAL on Kitchener and New Park Shopping Arcade.
