GOH Ziluo is a Partner in the Tax Practice. His main practice areas are income tax, goods & services tax, stamp duty and property tax.
He graduated from Singapore Management University (LL.B., Hons.; BAcc, Hons.) and is admitted to the Singapore Bar. He is an Accredited Tax Practitioner with the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals.
Matters of significance in which Ziluo has been involved in include advising / acting for the following:
- Terraform Labs in its Chapter 11 case and Singapore recognition proceedings, following the collapse of its TerraUSD and Luna crypto assets and involving billions of dollars in claims asserted by the US Securities and Exchange Commission and multiple claimants worldwide, in particular on the Singapore tax issues arising therefrom.
- The issuance of US$10.5 million 4.00%, US$24.7 million 3.95%, US$27 million 3.90%, US$45 million 6.50%, US$88 million 7.25% and US$52.8 million 5.88% Women's Livelihood Bonds by Impact Investment Exchange (IIX).
- Singapore counsel to Shiseido Company, Limited in the divestment of its personal care business to a new company to be established by funds advised by CVC Capital Partners group.
- The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited, in relation to the Singapore tax aspects of its purchase of Credit Suisse's trust businesses in Singapore, The Bahamas and Guernsey.
- NIO Inc. on the Singapore tax aspects in its secondary listing on SGX mainboard. NIO is a global smart electric vehicle company, and the first company in the world to be listed on three exchanges – U.S., Hong Kong S.A.R. and Singapore.
