Kevin HO is Co-Head of the Corporate Governance and Compliance Practice and a Partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. His main areas of practice are corporate governance and compliance, regulatory compliance, and corporate advisory, covering both public and private clients.

Kevin is a facilitator for the Advanced Corporate Practice and Professional Skills modules run by the Singapore Institute of Legal Education in the preparatory course for the Singapore Bar Examinations. He is also a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and sits on its Bulletin Committee.

Kevin graduated with First Class Honours from the National University of Singapore and is admitted to the Singapore Bar.

Significant transactions that Kevin has been involved in include acting / advising for the following:

  • State Alpha Limited ("the Offeror") an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of China Everbright Limited and DBS Bank Ltd the financial adviser to the Offeror in the mandatory unconditional cash offer for Ying Li International Real Estate Limited for approximately S$147 million.
  • Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited in the joint venture between its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Leone Investments Pte. Ltd., and StarHub Ltd to form Ensign InfoSecurity Pte. Ltd., a pure-play cyber security firm that will offer bespoke, end-to-end security solutions to enterprises and governments globally.
  • TCC Assets Limited ("TCCA") (a concert party of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited) in relation to the mandatory general offer by TCCA for Fraser and Neave, Limited ("F&N"), which valued F&N at approximately S$13.8 billion. The transaction was awarded "SE Asia M&A Deal of the Year", "Singapore M&A Deal of the Year" and "SE Asia Deal of the Year" at the ALB SE Asia Law Awards, 2014, "Best M&A Deal" at the IFLR Asia Awards, 2014 and "Best Singapore Deal" at the FinanceAsia Achievement Awards, 2013.
  • As Singapore compliance counsel to Thai Beverage Public Company Limited in its acquisition of a significant stake in Saigon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Joint Stock Corporation (Sabeco) for approximately VND109,965.6 billion (approximately US$4.8 billion) and in its acquisition of Myanmar Supply Chain and Marketing Services Co., Ltd. and Myanmar Distillery Co., Ltd. for approximately US$742 million.
