LOH Jen Vern is a Partner in the Equity Capital Markets Practice.

Her main areas of practice are fund raising, capital markets transactions (including initial and secondary public offerings, private placements, rights issues, REITs and business trusts) and general corporate law.

Prior to joining WongPartnership, Jen Vern worked in a regulatory role at the Singapore Exchange.

Jen Vern has been described by her clients in The Legal 500: Asia Pacific – The Client's Guide to the Asia Pacific Legal Profession as a lawyer who is "responsive, diligent and knows her stuff".

Jen Vern graduated from the University of Nottingham and is admitted to the Singapore Bar.
 

Significant transactions that Jen Vern has been involved in include acting for / advising in respect of the following:

  • AvePoint, Inc. in its US-registered offering of shares and secondary listing on the Singapore Exchange. AvePoint was the first B2B SaaS company to be listed on the Singapore Exchange and the first company to be dual listed on both Nasdaq and the Singapore Exchange.
  • CapitaLand Investment Limited in its listing by introduction on the Singapore Exchange, which had a market capitalisation of approximately S$15.3 billion on its first day of trading.
  • Keppel REIT in the S$651.5 million acquisition of Keppel Bay Tower and its private placement which raised S$270 million.
  • Elite Commercial REIT, the first initial public offering and listing of a REIT on the Singapore Exchange to be focused on the United Kingdom and denominated in pound sterling.
  • Lendlease Global Commercial REIT in its initial public offering on the Singapore Exchange, which raised S$1.03 billion.
  • Mapletree Logistics Trust in the acquisition of 11 properties in China for S$214 million and its private placement which raised S$220 million.
