Mohamed Nasser Ismail is a Senior Advisor in the Firm focusing on the development and implementation of key strategic initiatives.
Nasser was with the Singapore Exchange (SGX) for 18 years and was most recently the exchange’s Global Head of Equity Capital Markets. He joined SGX as Head of Enforcement in 2005, and held various regulatory roles including the Head of Issuer Regulations, before he assumed his latest role. Prior to joining SGX in 2005, Nasser was a State Counsel with the Attorney General’s Chambers.
Nasser is the Chairman of the DBS Digital Exchange (DDEX) Appeals and Conflicts Committee and an Advisory Committee Member of the Personal Data Protection Commission. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Zico Holdings and sits on the board of Sims Leisure Group. In the fintech sector, Nasser is a board member of private companies, HydraX and Surfin Meta Digital Technologies.
His other appointments include serving as Treasurer and Board Committee member of Madrasah Alsagoff Al-Arabiah, and as a member of both the Appeal Board and Wakaf Dispute Resolution Committee of the Singapore Islamic Religious Council (MUIS). He is also a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID).
Nasser graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Upper Division) from the National University of Singapore.
