WONG Meng Meng, Senior Counsel, founded WongPartnership in 1992, and the Firm ranks amongst the top law firms in Singapore today. Meng Meng retired from the Partnership in 2006, but remains with the Firm as Founder-Consultant, a position that aptly acknowledges his role as the man who, in the words of The Straits Times in its 16 December 2006 article, "set up a law firm that achieved a meteoric rise to prominence."

Meng Meng currently serves as a member of the Panel of Arbitrators at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and is a Member, Singapore Mediation Centre’s Advisory Board (SMC). He had previously held other positions, including being the President of the Law Society of Singapore, an Accredited Adjudicator at SMC, Vice-President of the Singapore Academy of Law and; a member of the Military Court of Appeal, the SIAC’s Committee, and the Competition Appeals Board.

Meng Meng had also held Commercial Board Appointments and memberships, such as Vice-Chairman, Singapore Business Federation – Middle East Business Group; Director and Chairman, FSL Trust Management Pte Ltd; Director, UOL Group Limited; Director, United Overseas Bank; Chairman and Director, Energy Market Company Pte. Ltd.; Chairman and Director, Mapletree Industrial Trust Management Ltd.; Director, Mapletree Investments Pte. Ltd.; Member of the Governing Council, Singapore Business Advisors and Consultants Council and Advisor, Singapore Standards Council, Coordinating Committee for the Silver Industry. 

Meng Meng's contributions extend to the Academic and Educational sectors as well. He had served as a member of the NUS Law Faculty’s Advisory Board and the Public Guardian Advisory Committee. He was also a member of the Quality Assurance For University (QAFU) Panel and the Advisory Committee for Temasek Polytechnic's School of Humanities & Social Sciences. Additionally, he was director at NIE International Pte Ltd..

Meng Meng was awarded the Public Service Medal (PBM) in 2001.

While in active practice, Meng Meng was consistently acknowledged as one of the world's leading lawyers in leading directories such as The International Who's Who of Commercial Litigators, PLC Cross-border Dispute Resolution: Arbitration Handbook, The International Who's Who of Construction Lawyers, Euromoney Legal Media Group and Legal 500: Asia Pacific.

The Straits Times has described him as one of several lawyers who have "inspired generations of lawyers".
