Our Senior Counsel are highly sought after for their elite advocacy skills and knowledge of the law. In 2020, one of our Senior Counsel, Andre Maniam, was appointed by The President of the Republic of Singapore, on the advice of the Prime Minister, as a Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court. In addition to their stellar legal credentials and their expertise in conducting proceedings before the Singapore International Commercial Court, our Senior Counsel also hold key appointments on boards and in government bodies. These appointments include being listed on the Panel maintained by the Disciplinary Tribunal Secretariat of the Supreme Court for the appointment as President of a Disciplinary Tribunal, the Panel of Chairpersons for the Singapore Medical Council Disciplinary Tribunal, the Appeals Advisory Panel of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Court of the Singapore International Arbitration Center and the Chairmanship of the Criminal Law Advisory Committee. They are also members of the advisory boards at various educational institutions.
In the area of dispute resolution, our Senior Counsel are members of numerous arbitration panels and committees in arbitration centres and courts in Singapore and overseas. These include the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board, the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators' Panel for Sports in Singapore, the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, and the South China International Economic Trade Arbitration Commission.
